  1. You need to use Java 8, if you need Java 10 for something else Gradle will use whatever Java version you point to with the JAVA_HOME environment variable. (i.e. my JAVA_HOME variable is "D:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_152")

  2. Minecraft#isSingleplayer will return false if the player is connected to a server, and true if the player is in singleplayer or hosting a LAN world. Minecraft#getIntegratedServer().getPublic() will return true if the player is hosting a LAN world but will throw a NullPointerException if the player is connected to a server. So you could use !mc.isSingleplayer() || mc.getIntegratedServer().getPublic() which will be true if the player is connected to a server or hosting a LAN world and false if the player is in a singleplayer world.

  4. Yea I have done something similar to this using git modules. Open blocks does this as well you can take a look on their Github. Set up the git module so the sub project is in the main projects root directory and then add the following to the corresponding files. Main build.gradle dependencies { compile project("Sub-Project-Name") } Main settings.gralde rootProject.name = "Project-Name" include ":Sub-Project-Name" Sub Project settings.gradle dependencies { rootProject.name = "Sub-Project-Name" } Let me know if you have any more questions.
