    This is not a sufficient description, I need to know the URL because there are many lookalike sites that will claim to provide Forge but instead will give you a load of adware or malware

  2. I can tell you that nobody on the dev team has tested this, though you might want to know that the game runs under the javaw.exe process (or java.exe if your child is crafty enough to change that setting) and not the launcher

    Edit: Did a bit of testing and it looks like MFS tracks each Minecraft version separately because they start with different window titles.

    Was this before a MacOS update? I've learned since then that it appears to be a MacOS problem instead of an M1 hardware problem, it just so happened that the M1's were the first to get the new MacOS version
