Hi guys, I’m new to modding and have a couple of questions after reading the docs. Where can I get a good overview of everything Forge? The docs seem to assume some previous knowledge. Forge produces a Jar file. Does this Jar file replace both the Client and Server Jar, or is it simply an extension of those? What is the purpose of isRemote? Why aren’t there just two different Jars, one for the Logical Client and one for the Logical Server? What does it mean for the world to be “running” on the logical client vs the logical server? Is it simply to decide whether the server Jar or client Jar is running the mod Jar file? I thought they both run at the same time? How can one be “running” the world? A client side mod should not have any code that runs under isRemote == false, correct? Thanks!!
