Ray Tracing (RTX) Setup without Nvidia RTX Graphics Card version 1.14.4
First check if you have any other versions of Java installed, if so we don't need to install new packages.
sudo update-alternatives --config java
If Java-8-openjdk isn't installed,
sudo apt install openjdk-8-jdk openjdk-8-jre
then,
sudo update-alternatives --config java
select the version of Java for MC.
This tutorial is beneficial, although the versions are outdated as of today (Apr 2020); the instructions are worthy to understand the pattern.

I currently have: (RTX Shaders Setup) via Linux Ubuntu 19.10 with GTX 1080 running fancy graphics @ 32 chuck loading with 64FPS (VSync enabled) I use vsync because my monitor picture will tear for increase in FPS; monitor only rated at 60FPS. Running on custom built PC with AMD Ryzen 8 Core (16 threads)
Run Java Files: Note, for Ubuntu 19.10; after download of java files: (Download Installer, right-click open properties, on permissions tab, tick checkbox execute file as a program)
