  1. That works. Thanks. That's a weird way of doing it. Saving the size to disk? That doesn't make sense...
  2. Yes, I did. I copied and pasted from my other tile entity and changed it later. I'll try making another world then.
  3. I have a container that is crashing because one of the slots is supposedly out of the valid range for the index. Here is the crash: http://pastebin.com/ArnSNi4B Here is my container code: http://pastebin.com/LC6jxWPi I would have used spoilers but some people on this forum can't read them. Edit: Here's my Tile Entity code: http://pastebin.com/psqgEiPM
  4. Yep. It's working now. Thanks everyone for the help.

That should fix it.
  6. As far as solving your problem, what Minecraft version are you using? If it's 1.7.10, we don't support that anymore here, if it's 1.8 and up we can help you. Also, do you want to import a .obj model into Minecraft, or something else?
  7. That's ok. I think I did the same this too.
  8. This would likely be a question for the Modder support section. This isn't related to ForgeGradle (the workspace installation part of Forge).
  9. I'll check for errors in the morning. I realized I set it to active when it was false. Setting it back didn't change anything unfortunately.
  10. So, if I wanted a tile entity to check around it for generators, I would use something like hasCapability right?
  11. No. The front texture whether it is the animated one or not renders as a purple and black checker board. The mcmeta file name is correct.
  12. It doesn't look like it. I made a test block with the model cube_all and it didn't have a texture either.
  13. I thought it might be because of my animated texture, but I'm not sure. Is there something different you are supposed to do than an mcmeta file for animated textures?
  14. Oh! I feel stupid now! I think I put in code where you had to put water in before it will work! I forgot about that. Edit: It's working now. *facepalm*
  15. It prints 0 a bunch of times. I'll check my generating code over.
  16. This only happened when I removed the RF API and replaced it with capabilities. It worked perfectly before.
  17. I'm pretty sure I checked using System.out.println() statements but I'll check again. Edit: Yes, generate is being called.
  18. It's not working now. The front texture doesn't show. I don't think I changed anything that would make it do that. { "forge_marker": 1, "defaults": { "textures": { "front": "#inactive", "inactive": "roboticraft:blocks/purifier_front_inactive", "active": "roboticraft:blocks/purifier_front_active", "top": "roboticraft:blocks/purifier_side", "side": "roboticraft:blocks/purifier_side", "particle": "roboticraft:blocks/purifier_side" } }, "variants": { "normal": { "model": "orientable" }, "inventory": { "model": "orientable" }, "facing": { "north": { "model": "orientable" }, "south": { "model": "orientable", "y": 180 }, "west": { "model": "orientable", "y": 270 }, "east": { "model": "orientable", "y": 90 } }, "active": { "true": { "textures": { "front": "#active" } }, "false": { "front": "#active" } } } }
  19. Even after fixing the simulate parameter it still doesn't work. Any other ideas?
  20. Ok. Thanks. I'll test that in the morning.
  21. So I was converting code over, and it's broken. My generator is burning coal but it won't generate energy now that it is converted over to capabilities. Did I do something wrong? Please excuse any messy code for the moment, I will clean it up later.
