[Solved] 1.16.5 Get Entities Active Potion Effect Clientside

I need to get the active potion effect of an entity, but on the client side, since i need to render this entity based on the potion effect.

Is there a way to sync the entities effects to the players client?

Override addAttributeModifiers and removeAttributeModifiers in your Effect class. These methods are called when your effect is added to resp. removed from an entity. You can then send a packet to all players tracking this entity (PacketDistributor.TRACKING_ENTITY).

Additionally you need to subscribe to PlayerEvent.StartTracking, which fires whenever a player starts tracking an entity. Check if the entity is a LivingEntity and has your effect, if so, also send that player the packet.
