genIntellijRuns task results in errors

I'm new to Java and modding, so I went to the tutorial on https://mcforge.readthedocs.io/en/1.16.x/gettingstarted/ but I already am facing issues. I followed the guide up until step 6, at which point when I run "gradlew enIntellijRuns" I get an error which reads "Could not find net.minecraftforge:forge:1.16.5-36.2.0_mapped_official_1.16.5.". Do any knowledgable modders know what this means and how to fix it?

You have a broken jar file somewhere in your gradle cache. The easiest fix is to delete .gradle/caches/forge_gradle in your user home folder (this will require all Minecraft projects to be reimported in your IDE).

To avoid this in the future, do not interrupt any ForgeGradle tasks.
