Mods not showing up in Forge

i found a few mods i want to use and i downloaded forge and everything had gone smoothly until i added all my mods into the mods folder, and none of them actually showed up in game. i would show screenshots aswell but im not sure how to upload images here. but basically all my mods are in the folder it gave me (appdata > roaming > .minecraft > mods) but when i click on "mods" in minecraft all that shows up is minecraft 1.16 and forge itself.

    • Thanks for your reply! I have done it using data generation now. It works well for world generation, and I have realised that I don't care about saplings, so it works well. For anyone looking to do something similar, I include files to show what I did.     • the reason for that is the PlayerModel positions and rotations are set after the RenderPlayerEvent.Pre is fired change to Event to RenderPlayerEvent.Post
    • you can use BiomeLoadingEvent, loop through the Features you get from the Event and remove the Feature if it's the AmethystGeode Feature
