I run on these Java settings:

executable file: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-18.0.1.1\bin\javaw.exe

JVM arguments: -Xmx8G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M

please post debug.log with java 17

The debug.log was not generated in the .minecraft/logs folder, neither was the launcher_log.txt generated in .minecraft. Do I have to enable any option for it to be generated?

    • I just checked the mod list, and there was no mention of Midnight Hats. It's not even a mod on Curseforge and some quick research indicates it doesn't exist. Sorry. Any other ideas?
    • Hello There! Today we are on a mission and that is to get to the Christmas Tree but first we gotta do some parkour and go on a pretty cool roller coaster! But this was such a fun and short parkour map and we loved it!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3Pf03YHfOM
    • Looks like a conflict between oculus and iris. Check you have the latest versions the contact the mod authors.
    • Looks like an issue with the midnight hats mod. Check you have the latest version then contact the mod author.
    • Hey Everyone, im developing a small mod for 1.18.2 forge that stores some data attached to the player with a custom capability. This works fine on disconnect & reconnect. Server restart & on death of player.   For some reason when returning from the end the data gets lost & the player gets the capability recreated... Below some code attached of the capability   Code below are my player events. They all trigger correctly, on returning from the end the respawn player event is triggerd as far as i can understand from debugging. Should reviveCaps() be called on player respawn aswell?? @SubscribeEvent public static void onPlayerCloned(PlayerEvent.Clone event) { if(!event.isWasDeath()) return; event.getOriginal().reviveCaps(); LOGGER.info("CLONE EVENT TRIGGERD!!"); event.getOriginal().getCapability(PlayerIslandProvider.PLAYER_ISLAND).ifPresent(oldStore -> { if(oldStore.hasOne()) LOGGER.info("We found island data!"); event.getPlayer().getCapability(PlayerIslandProvider.PLAYER_ISLAND).ifPresent(newStore -> { newStore.copyFrom(oldStore); }); }); event.getOriginal().invalidateCaps(); } @SubscribeEvent public static void onDimensionChange (PlayerEvent.PlayerChangedDimensionEvent event) { event.getPlayer().reviveCaps(); } @SubscribeEvent public void onPlayerRespawn(PlayerEvent.PlayerRespawnEvent event) { event.getPlayer().getCapability(PlayerIslandProvider.PLAYER_ISLAND).ifPresent(i -> { if(i.hasOne()) event.getPlayer().teleportTo(i.getLocation().getX(), i.getLocation().getY(), i.getLocation().getZ()); }); } @SubscribeEvent public static void onAttachCapabilitiesPlayer(AttachCapabilitiesEvent<Entity> event) { if(!(event.getObject() instanceof Player)) return; if(event.getObject().getCapability(PlayerIslandProvider.PLAYER_ISLAND).isPresent()) return; event.addCapability(new ResourceLocation(Main.MOD_ID, "islanddata"), new PlayerIslandProvider()); }
