Slightly Off Topic Suggestion - Facebook Group orTwitter Feed

I've seen the queries regarding the requests for an Update Checker in Forge (and seen the answer) and thought of a way the Mod Devs could 'annnounce' updates in a way that minimises their effort while also pushing it out to subscribers to notify them.

 

 

A Facebook Group page or a Twitter Feed would be a way doing this.

 

 

Also, it allows for the option of approved Modders being able to post notification of their own updates.
