Incompatible with nearby all mods i like

I have only TWO questions:

1. Why the hell is this "Forge" incompatible with nearby all mods i wanted to installed at my minecraft client ??? I only need the forge for the mods from CubeX2 (CustomStuff and MultiPageChest) but as i installed the forge i always get a blackscreen by only additional installing the better gras mod from MCPatcher ...

2. Why isnt there a simple "How to install" tutorial for installing the forge only for using it for other mods and NOT a confusing "How to" for installing it for development (the tutorial in our wiki) ????

PS: sry 4 my bad english, i am german xD

MCPatcher, Don't use it, IT SUCKS (It does stuff it shouldn't do)

Use Optifine

Ps installing mods is easy, Open minecraft.jar with 7z(or other archiver) and drag Forge in the jar.

Install all other mods by placing the zips in the .minecraft/mods folder (gets generated 1th rime forge is installed)

--> Unless otherwise instructed by the mod information (from where you downloaded the mod)

Please send me all the typo's you found, I'm from Belgium and I'm a little dyslectic and suck @ typing.

Forge is not incompatible with nearby all your mods, all your mods are incompatible with forge. Without forge almost all mods would conflict.

Search and you will find.

I never had problems with MCPatcher... but even installing the other mods manually isnt working ... i hate it when some awesome mods incompatible with other awesome mods... such decisions are killing me ...

That's why forge is created. To make more mods compatible with eachother!

Well, you could ask the creators if they could port their mods to Forge. ;)

Don't ask for support per PM! They'll get ignored! | If a post helped you, click the "Thank You" button at the top right corner of said post! |

This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.

Any mod that does not base edits should work fine with Forge.

Any mod that does do base edits, the author should be shot, there is no reason for that anymore as it makes it incompatible with anything that does the same.

MCPatcher does base edits.  Optifine does too, but it is specifically designed to work with Forge, unlike MCPatcher.  Although there is no reason for Optifine to have base edits any more either, he should fix that.
