[1.20.1] How to prevent entity from being pushed by fluid

I was trying to prevent entity in the level from being pushed by flowing fluid.

I found in class 'FluidType' the method 'boolean canPushEntity(entity)'

Will using mixin here cause problems? If so what are the other ways to achieve this?
