Minecraft Crashes When Launching

When I try to launch Minecraft, version 1.21.5, it crashes during loading. Error code -1.

The game crashed: rendering overlay
Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Default font failed to load

Also, among possible fixes, I tried updating Java, updating all drivers, reinstalling Minecraft. I even reinstalled Windows, but still have this issue. Coincidentally, 1.19.4 and older versions work, but anything newer than that crashes.
