[1.7.10-pre-4] Minecraft won't even start

Hey guys, I was just trying to install Forge 10.12.2.1139 on a fresh download of the latest 1.7.10 pre-release. Forge itself installed fine, but when I click the Play button, it just sits for a couple seconds and Minecraft never opens. I looked around on the forums but couldn't find anything pertaining to my situation.

Here are my logs:

http://pastebin.com/rrqj67B4 - FML Log

http://pastebin.com/agC5vSFc - Launcher Dev Console Log

I'd appreciate any help you can give.

Same problem here with build 1139.

Builds 1137/1138 work just fine. Including with GLSL Shaders.

I use %appdata%\.minecraft for my base MC and 1.6.4 install.

I use %appdata%\.minecraft172 for my 1.7.2 install.

I use %appdata%\.minecraft1710 for my 1.7.10 install.

Game directory is controlled using the launcher profiles.

Logs:

NO MODS -- http://pastebin.com/QhHMwvKk

GLSL SHADERS -- http://pastebin.com/kPzMjrHM

EDIT: Similiar crash in the new Build 1141. Log is the same with or without GLSL Shaders in mods folder.

your missing the most important part of the log file, the actual error -.-

Anyways, try killing the libraries/com/google folder and letting the launcher re-download the common libraries which it seems to be finding a corrupt one.

As for your setup, you really should just stick inside .minecraft and do something similiar to what I do :P ./minecraft/profiles/{profilename}

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

Nope, didn't work.

As for the log file, I copy and pasted the whole thing. I thought that also included the error.

Same deal on my end, Java just ends, and MC closes back to the launcher (i have keep launcher open set).

That's it for those log files.

That sounds like a great idea, don't know why it never occurred to me. Sometimes I like to do things the hard way I guess :P!

The issue with guava is caused by a small derp on cpws end, should be fixed if you update.

I'll update though, thx for the help Lex!

Hope your internet probs get sorted out soon man! That's insanity! You'd think Comcast would be getting enough crap with the twitter flags, and bombarding them ;):D! HeeHee!

I worked it out, my folder structure was all wrong, couldnt get it to work on my laptop, tried my desktop and it worked but realised i had the build tools 1 level too deep. Switched to my lappy and did it again with the build tools 1 level up and it works now.
