[1.6.4] Block not apearing in creative menu

I made a block and its not appearing in the creative menu. The only way to get it is by typing 'give 1132'. Thanks

So... are we meant to guess how you're registering this block, or are you going to give some code?

In your Block's constructor, you need to use:

 

this.setCreativeTab(CreativeTabs.tabBlock);

 

 

There are of course other ways, but this is the method that I prefer.

Im such a noob. I thought i did give it a creative tab, but when i looked into my block class, apparently i didnt. Thanks anyway

You're not a "noob", you're just learning, and that's okay. I've been modding for a year and I still forget simple stuff like that. People are too strict about this stuff these days, it's why so many people don't like to ask for help. If you stop and think about it though, more people would make more amazing mods if people were more helpful. I'm glad I helped ya out. It's always the simple stuff, trust me. Sometimes a change of location helps, such as posting it in Notepad/Pastebin, or asking about it at a forum. Another set of eyes is always good.
