Beacon Beam type rendering

I have rendered a beacon style beam from a tile entity and it works but only when you are looking at it.

but if I look just above my current position then it disappears

I have set both max render distance the same as the beacon tileentity and also the render bounding box to infinite

	@Override
@SideOnly(Side.CLIENT)
public double getMaxRenderDistanceSquared() {
	return 65536.0D;
}

@Override
@SideOnly(Side.CLIENT)
public AxisAlignedBB getRenderBoundingBox() {
	return INFINITE_EXTENT_AABB;
}

 

but still don't know why it is not rendering, any help would be much appreciated :)

Looking at

TileEntityBeaconRenderer

, I think you need to override

TileEntitySpecialRenderer#isGlobalRenderer

to return

true

.
