Fatalitiii Posted March 21, 2016 Share Posted March 21, 2016 I have rendered a beacon style beam from a tile entity and it works but only when you are looking at it. but if I look just above my current position then it disappears I have set both max render distance the same as the beacon tileentity and also the render bounding box to infinite @Override @SideOnly(Side.CLIENT) public double getMaxRenderDistanceSquared() { return 65536.0D; } @Override @SideOnly(Side.CLIENT) public AxisAlignedBB getRenderBoundingBox() { return INFINITE_EXTENT_AABB; } but still don't know why it is not rendering, any help would be much appreciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Choonster Posted March 21, 2016 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Looking at TileEntityBeaconRenderer , I think you need to override TileEntitySpecialRenderer#isGlobalRenderer to return true .
