So I'm done making my mod, run gradlew build and when I try to install it on my own PC, It gives me errors like assets is not working and such I/ll show you screenshots. So my question is, what files cause this error what class, I did not post some source code yet because I am unsure where it is giving the errors.

I'd be willing to bet your file names aren't all lower case.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

Your assets.

Textures, json files...the folders containing them...

That one only needs to be all-lower in 1.11, in 1.10 it's fine as it was.

That said, you've only posted screenshots. There's no code to accompany your post.

I might be a wizard, but I'm not psychic.

How about uploading everything to github?

I don't know how you have your code arranged, I don't know what I might need, I only know what to look for.

git the program?

...yes...

Git is a program. GitHub is a remote repository host.

Now then (that I'm awake, seriously, I'm not here 24/7).

Quote

ModelLoader.setCustomModelResourceLocation(Item.getItemFromBlock(block), 0, new ModelResourceLocation(new ResourceLocation(RealmOfTheDragons.MODID, block.getUnlocalizedName().substring(5)), "inventory"));

block.getUnlocalizedName().substring(5)?  Really?

Bad modder, no cookie.

new ModelResourceLocation(block.getRegistryName().toString())"inventory",

Ok guys! Sorry for necroing this post but apparently, Dracos18s solution was not enough but I got the solution correctly. I wasn't able to use my computer for many days but here's my solution the .json should be in lowercase Example amethyst_dragon_sword.json not amethyst_dragon_sword.JSON. en_US.lang not en_US.LANG to see the file extension like (.lang, .txt, .json ) see here https://www.howtohaven.com/system/show-file-extensions-in-windows-explorer.shtml

Yes, the file extension is part of the file name.
