how to register an arrow projectile

so i'm trying to make an custom arrow i'm in the registering part now but can't seem to figure out how it works.

my item:

package com.CloudyProductions.DreamMod.heaven.items;

public class RenderCloudArrow extends RenderArrow<CloudArrow> {

    public RenderCloudArrow(RenderManager rm) {

    @Override
    public ResourceLocation getEntityTexture(CloudArrow entity) {

but how can i register this

trying to do this 

EntityRegistry.registerModEntity(CloudArrow.class, new RenderCloudArrow());

but i need and RenderManager

  • Do not use registerModEntity, use EntityEntryBuilder to create an EntityEntry and then register it in RegistryEvent.Register<EntityEntry>.
  • Do not use @SideOnly.
  • Entity renderers must be registered in preInit from your client proxy using RenderingRegistry.registerEntityRenderingHandler(Class, IRenderFactory). Do not use the deprecated version of registerEntityRenderingHandler.
  • Code style, issue 3.
