scpketer
Hey there. I was making a config class which contains the field of type Long (it should accept numbers greater than an int), but Minecraft crashes on load saying 'unknown type'. Is there any workaround? Alright, even if there are none, how can I prevent user from typing malformed number into a String field (which is parsed in future)? Short answer: you can’t Long answer: You could do it a number of ways, for example with a custom GUI. The simplest option is just store a backup value that is correct, and if parsing fails tell the user and fall back to the backup value Edited February 12, 2019 by Cadiboo Quote About Me Spoiler My Discord - Cadiboo#8887 My Website - Cadiboo.github.io My Mods - Cadiboo.github.io/projects My Tutorials - Cadiboo.github.io/tutorials Versions below 1.14.4 are no longer supported on this forum.
