TheKingElessar
2 hours ago, MrSawZ said: Unknown recipe type: sm:crafting_shaped 2 hours ago, MrSawZ said: "type": "crafting_shaped", This seems to be your problem. According to the documentation here, the proper type is "minecraft:crafting_shaped", not "crafting_shaped". It looks like that by leaving off "minecraft:" the game assumes you are using a custom recipe, which is why it's looking for the recipe type "sm:crafting_shaped" ("sm" must be your modid). If you're trying to use a custom recipe type, perhaps the name you gave it in your _factories.json file isn't "crafting_shaped" because you had a typo. On another note, it would be good to get a longer modid. You might be using a two-letter one because of a tutorial you followed, but there is pretty much no reason to not use a longer, more descriptive one. That will minimize the chances for conflicts between your mod and other mod!
MrSawZ
Oh yeah, that's work! I have missed "minecraft::" on the documentation. and for the modid, it's a private mod for my server so the conflicts are minimal but that's a good tip, Thanks ! DavidM
"sm" is a bad mod ID that will conflict with other mods. You should use a longer mod ID than just 2 letters. Quote Some tips: Spoiler Modder Support: Spoiler 1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code. 2. Always post your code. 3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that. 4. Quote Programming via Eclipse's hotfixes will get you nowhere 5. Learn to use your IDE, especially the debugger. 6. Quote The "picture that's worth 1000 words" only works if there's an obvious problem or a freehand red circle around it. Support & Bug Reports: Spoiler 1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s). 2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
