[1.14.4] Setting up Compatibility/Importing from other mods

As the titles says, I'm  trying to run compatibility between my mod and another mod. (MC version 1.14.4)

 

The other mod's Jar file loads into my IDE just fine, I can access it's library and  import it just fine and have no build errors in my IDE. But when I try to compile to either build or run I receive a compileJava error and it's unable to find said imports from the other mod that were working inside the IDE.

I run the basic check to see if the mod is loaded before calling any of the classes that use it's imports, if(ModList.get().isLoaded which I know works.

I know that the mod jar also works.

My code otherwise works when I'm not calling in the others mods imports, the mods jar works fine, so I'm at a bit of a loss as to why I would be getting compile. Even when the specific class is not called or there is only just the import, I still run into this error.


So I'm not really sure as to why I'm running into this error, I've done a clear reinstall of forge to the latest version with no difference, is there a specific location where I'm suppose to place the other mods jar file in the mkd? or something else small that I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Versions below 1.14.4 are no longer supported on this forum. Use the latest version to receive support.

When asking support remember to include all relevant log files (logs are found in .minecraft/logs/), code if applicable and screenshots if possible.
