Hi there, I am using Minecraft 1.16.3 with an unofficial launcher and I experience some problems while installing Forge.

In an official Minecraft launcher it can be installed using forge installer easily. 

I tried to copy a JAR file, patched by Forge in an official launcher to my unofficial launcher, and libraries too, but that doesn't work.

What's Forge launcher? What's forge universal? What's the difference? And how can they be installed?

Maybe these two different Forge builds are for injecting them inside minecraft.jar as it was in 1.5.2 and before?

Only the installer is supported. What launcher are you using? Post a screenshot.

It's my own launcher, you can't know it 😀 With my own structure of clients and versions.

Sometimes it crashes, sometimes leaves a lastlog and sometimes does nothing but hangs up in my tasks

Nothing happens, I took libraries and minecraft.jar with an installed OptifineHD which one properly works in an official launcher

You are doing things wrong.


Making custom launchers is not supported. You should not make people enter their Mojang credentials into your software, especially if you, as evidenced by this thread, have no idea what the hell you are doing.

Do not make custom launchers.

You don't need to enter Mojang credentials in this launcher, my launcher uses my own auth and registration system. No Mojang and Microsoft services are envolved

Of course I do, on our servers works a rule - Piracy launchers are restricted, Mojang Launchers are restricted, you can join a server only using our launcher

      You need to update the build.gradle to have your modid instead of the default examplemod you'll want to modify the group, the modid and pretty much everywhere where "examplemod" is shown, you'll want to replace with your own modid   note: you have a static field in your main mod class (Warwolves.java) called MOD_ID, whenever you need the mod id, you should be referencing this field, instead of typing the string every time note 2: don't create an ItemBase class https://championash5357.github.io/ChampionAsh5357/tutorial/minecraft/ciar#code-style-5

      I am trying to make a custom autoclicker for my client side mod which will be used on my smp server so that when someone presses down the key "v" it will toggle an autoclicker for them. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the method is to register a left click? I would appreciate it!
