Failed to remove config ./world/serverconfig/forge-server.toml from tracker!

I've been getting this error when stopping my Forge server, which seems to be the cause of it hanging for varying periods (sometimes 1 second, sometimes forever).

I created a bug report on the tracker, which suggested I open a forum thread for the issue instead: https://github.com/MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge/issues/7704

Given some other mods are showing similar errors, I also reported it to their trackers. Some have suggested this to be an individual mod causing it, however there is no clear sign of which one. Googling the error showed up with a single thread where the mod in question was told to be reported to, which has led me here.

Upon further investigation, it appears to have been a mod (Performant) causing random errors when a certain setting is enabled. For anyone experiencing this in the future, try with the default configs and work from there, the mods it points to are red herrings!

      The conflict arises from discrepancies between different versions of GSON. My suggestion would be to remove your dependency on GSON 2.8.6 and opt for a different approach. Instead of using the static method JsonParser.parseString, you can create a JsonParser object and then use the parse method.   JsonParser jsonParser = new JsonParser(); jsonParser.parse(jsonString)
