Packet and Function Confusion

SoundsFine

Recommended Posts

I was decompiling a mod and found this,

this.mc.func_147114_u().func_147298_b().func_179290_a((Packet)new C07PacketPlayerDigging(C07PacketPlayerDigging.Action.START_DESTROY_BLOCK, new BlockPos(currPoint.func_177958_n(), currPoint.func_177956_o(), currPoint.func_177952_p()), EnumFacing.UP));

I'm wondering where I can find the code for the func_xxxxx and C07PacketPlayerDigging. A while ago I was working on an MCP client and I found where the func_xxxxx's were, but now I can't find them. Thanks for any help!

Custom clients are not supported on this forum, and are not encouraged in general (yes, clients such as BLC and Lunar are looked down upon in the modding community due to violation of Mojang's wishes and account security threats).

If you want to modify the game, use a mod instead (although keep in mind that "anti-cheat" clients and fundamentally flawed and will not work).

Modder Support:

Spoiler

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

Support & Bug Reports:

Spoiler

1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s).

2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
