    Sorry, I didn't get back to you sooner, but what exactly do you mean by run the Jar version (yes I Googled it, I have no answers).

    I've tried that before, it doesn't work. Both Installer-Win and Installer never open. I've tried everything, and it just doesn't work.

    I've had this issue not just for 1.8.9, but 1.9, and 1.7.10/1.7.2. I've troubleshooted the issue and Windows says the following: Incompatible Program Detected forge-1.8.9-11.15.1.1722-installer-win is incompatible. Can anyone help me with this issue?
