in the new 1.12 Forge i tried to install it and it at first went fine, but when i went into the launcher it wasn't there. so i tried to install it again and it said that i didn't have the authentication to access the file so i had to go to another website to download it and it worked the first time. if you just put out an update you should probably delete it and figure out the issue, thanks for reading and hope that u can fix this issue for other people :).
