    Only certain forges are loading rest don't download and just crash

    when i first got forge it never worked until i got 1.710 but i wanted to play with newer mods but that does not as other forges don't work they just crash the game and when i download forge it doesn't give me the installation thing that you put install client it just gives me a zip file plz help me i really want to play with other mods p.s i use a macbook pro every time i download it it give me the installer folder i put it into the mc folder where all the other versions are and it just gives me the same crash report.

    Forge Crashes

    I'm having the same problem as well as another one as well when i download forge recommended then when it downloads i open it and instead of it open the final step to downloading forge it opens a forge installer folder with a bunch of random things that i don't know what they are and also when i try to open any forge except for 1.7.10 it doesn't download and crashes btw i'm using a mac book pro if that helps. plz help me i really want to play with newer mods here is whats happening
