Entities, Items lagging server
Hey, I have the problem that there seems to be items or other entities and causing the server to lag. So usually with 20 players online the server is running on 20 TPS with a mean tick time of about 25 ms. But sometimes the TPS drop down to 3-5 for 5 to 15 minutes, especially when there is much PVP (so a lot of items dropping) going on. I also got the LagFix mod and it sometimes helps. In most cases the "nukeitems" command brings the TPS back up but not always (maybe because e.g. xp orbs don't count as items). The entitycount while the server is lagging is also not very high. So I would say that it's not the count of entities causing lags but a few that seem to be glitched in some way. The server is also not running on 100% memory or CPU. Running on forge-1.8-11.14.4.1577 (Yes 1.8 is old I know). What can I do to resolve that problem? Thank you very much for your help!

Contributing to Forge - building client/server jar?
Because I need a server with better performance and the possibility to run the server several hours while continuing developing. So is there any way to do so?

I know that. But I want to try it on a real server and not just in the dev environment.

Contributing to Forge - building client/server jar?
Hey guys, I want to contribute to forge and did some modifications I want to test on e.g. a Minecraft test server. So I need to build the jar files to do so. The documentation says something about these patch files - but I don't really get how these work. Also I tried the gradle build as you would do it with mods and the eclipse export but both won't work. Thank's a lot for the help!
