  1. So I am currently trying to edit sounds on my server without everyone needing to download and install a resource pack (as a good portion of my mates who are on there just won't as they're a bunch of lazy sods). So I have gone into the files on the server and edited the sound file on there in the mod (MRCrayfish's furniture mod) and replaced the .ogg file with the one that I wanted (set the name of the new sound to what the original was). When I go onto the server it still plays the original sound. Now I am suspecting that is because it uses the sound files from the client side rather than pulling them off the server. My question really is there a way to make it pull the sounds from the server or not? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
