    Is that seriously it? All the other games i have ever modded required me to extract the file. I will try it tomorrow

    So i just installed forge for the first time, (1.12.1) and it ran just fine. but as soon as i add ANY mod, i get a crash report. i tried this with many different mods, all of them crashes minecraft forge. i tried some FAQ, none of them seemed to fix it. i attached an example. fml-crash-2017-09-07_21.08.03.txt
