Can download forge, but doesn't appear in launcher

Thank you very much! That really helped, found it! -
I can download forge and run the program that i downloaded. After running it, it says that forge was succesfully installed into the launcher. But then when i open the launcher there is no forge version for the one i just downloaded and ran. I cant seem to solve the problem.
