  1. Can confirm that the older version works.
  2. I downloaded the latest Windows Installer (2492) and ran it. I am using the standard MC launcher. Here is the latest log (prepare for lots and lots of jargon) I will try using the older version (2491) and see if that works
  3. I recently decided to get backing into modding my game for the heck of it. I downloaded the most recent Forge (1.12.2) and installed it to my game. I hit the play button to test it out and make sure it worked. Unfortunentely, it caused the game to crash several times before I could get to the main menu. It goes through it's setup phase, but crashes within 30-45 seconds. Here is the error report that accompanies the crash. The game crashed whilst initializing gameError: java.lang.IllegalAccessError: tried to access field net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiOverlayDebug.field_175242_a from class net.minecraftforge.client.GuiIngameForge$GuiOverlayDebugForge Could any of you tech savy people explain this technical jargon to a non-java fluent person? Any suggestions?
