  2. Hello, I recently started modding but I have experience coding plugins for servers. I have found a tiny error that stops the game from launching. I am using the latest version of forge MDK (12.18.3.2511) and have jdk1.8.0_151 (64 bit) installed and am using eclipse Java Oxygen. Here is the code to my main class: package me.jamie.modpackage; import me.jamie.modpackage.item.ModItems; import me.jamie.modpackage.proxy.CommonProxy; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.SidedProxy; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLInitializationEvent; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLPostInitializationEvent; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLPreInitializationEvent; @Mod(modid = MP.modid, name = MP.name, version = MP.ver, acceptedMinecraftVersions = "[1.10.2]") public class MP { public static final String modid = "mods"; public static final String name = "jamies mod package"; public static final String ver = "0.1"; @Mod.Instance(MP.modid) public static MP instance; @Mod.EventHandler public void preInit(FMLPreInitializationEvent e) { ModItems.init(); } @Mod.EventHandler public void init(FMLInitializationEvent e) { } @Mod.EventHandler public void postInit(FMLPostInitializationEvent e) { } @SidedProxy(serverSide = "me.jamie.modpackage.proxy.CommonProxy", clientSide = "me.jamie.modpackage.proxy.ClientProxy") public static CommonProxy proxy; } Here is the error: ---- Minecraft Crash Report ---- // This doesn't make any sense! A solution I found was to change the modid so it is all lowercase, but my modid already is. Thanks.
