  1. If I need to learn something I'd not ask something on a forum, I'd reach up a friend who knows java and ask him to teach me. Although what you said is correct for most people, don't generalize everything.
  2. Well, I can agree with this, tho, if I asked on this forum, it's because I can't find anything nowhere.
  3. I can't find out how to make it work. I'm totally a beginner either in Java and in modding... ^^ All I found is this btw: https://takahikokawasaki.github.io/minecraft-resources/javadoc/forge/1.8-11.14.1.1320/net/minecraft/item/ItemPotion.html
  4. Hi. In my mod I made an item, and I would like this item to give a potion effect (in this case nausea) to the I player I aim with it. As for now, I've got an Item class, which looks like this. public class ItemCouffey extends Item { @Override public ItemStack onItemRightClick(ItemStack item, World world, EntityPlayer player){ System.out.println("it works"); // AMAZING player.playSound("vf:sword.sound", 1.0F, 1.0F); return item; } } I have no clue how I cloud give a potion effect to a target.. ^^ Thanks !
  5. Hi, I'm editing my mcmod.info right now, and I was wondering how to : - Use french specific accented characters ? my file is (accordingly to IDEA) in UTF-8, my game is in French, but accents are displayed as "??". - Introduce returns in the description ? Mine is pretty long and doesn't even fit in the screen I'm quite new to modding stuff so I'm not familiar with this kind of stuff, haha. X
