thanks, but what do you mean by inside and outside your network? i want to be able to play with friends who dont live with me lol.

how do I connect to the server? also, how do you install plugins on it? thanks so much btw

so im probably gonna sound really dumb, but listen i've been playing this game for a very long time. maybe since around 2011. somehow, i havent ever made a forge server since then. i've used stuff like aternos, bought some stupid server package for $30 a month, etc. how do i make a forge server myself though for me to play with some friends with mods? pretty dumb i know, but id love your help. thanks guys
