  1. I managed to figure out what the error was, which was that I was trying to use Forge with the minecraft.jar I downloaded from http://minecraft.net/ instead of the jar located in ~/.minecraft/bin. The full explanation of what I did to get it working is outlined here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1592978-problems-installing-minecraft-forge-api-for-minecraft-145/
  2. It's been awhile since I played, and I want to start a server that has Millenaire on it, and I can't figure out how to do this. I was hoping someone could give me a list of steps to take. I haven't been able to find any updated guide for installing Forge. I've downloaded the latest Forge zip, and renamed it to a jar, and that runs the server. I put the Millenaire files into the mods folder, though I can't tell for sure if it's running it. When I try to connect with the vanilla client, it says, "You don't have FML installed, you cannot connect to this server". I tried running Forge in the folder with my Minecraft client in it the same way I did with the server, but that doesn't work. I'm not sure if it's supposed to or not, but the error it's giving me is "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: aa." Also, I'm running Ubuntu x64 if that makes a difference.
