  1. I looked up how to search in console and all examples were different from my computer, when I search forge nothing comes up. Don't be responding trying to help with just a sentence when clearly that won't fix the problem even a little. I'm done with this discussion. Thanks.
  2. Dude, I know!! I said it in the beginning, the universal jar won't even open. It just says check console for error messages, or something along those lines. I don't know how to use console on mac and can't figure out the problem.
  3. When I start up the server, I click on the Minecraft server jar file I installed. When you enter a new configuration, like 1.12.2 or whatever, it says download server or something along those lines... I have that file and I'm able to get onto the server. I'm not going through an external source or anything, it's just through Minecraft and I'm able to get onto the server. "minecraft_server.1.12.2.jar"
  4. okay. So, I downloaded the forge installer, installed the server section of it, double clicked and followed through with that, made sure there was a mod section when I opened Minecraft and now I'm not running it? I'm confused why it didn't create that file. Do you need me to show you anything?
  5. It's okay, did I post the right one? I don't know what fml is... I don't have any file name like that under where I installed forge. Unless I'm being an extreme noob.

For help, type "help" or "?" [21:39:44] [Server Shutdown Thread/INFO]: Stopping server this is under the forge logs, the correct one? It's labeled "latest.log" under my forge folder.
  7. I'm not too sure how to check the console. When I open it it just lists a bunch of messages, and even when I search "forge" nothing will come up. I am on a Mac, any ideas?
  8. I've been trying to install mods forever and I can see them in my creative inventory but can't place modded entities or anything modded of that matter in the game. Also, when I double click on the forge universal jar file I have (after installing the forge server and following through with the installer) it just says 'check the console for error messages.' The "mods" sections come up when I open Minecraft, and I have mods in my regular Minecraft folder (not connected to my server) in which I want. I don't think these are connecting which is the problem. And, when I put the mods in the forge mods folder there is no point because the forge server jar file won't even open... it comes up with that error. I have been searching for hours on how to resolve these issues, anything will be greatly appreciated! thanks.
