    Thank you. I'm not surprised it worked. If anyone else is only getting Power Shell like me then follow this and follow BOTH tutorials and you'll get your cmd option. Thanks diesieben07

    Hey, So I've tried uninstalling minecraft and java and used the "java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -jar forge-1.12.2-14.23.2.2611-installer.jar" after shift right clicking and running cmd from this location but it comes up with an error "Error: Could not find or load main class .net.preferIPv4Stack=true". The link in the EAQ is no longer there or the files have been removed. I'm running the installer and not the windows installer and tried the latest and recommended. I've deleted the .minecraft folder when reinstalling minecraft and used the new client as well as the old java version. I'm running 1.12.2 and I'm at a loss. Please can someone help?
