Please forgive me for asking and if this has been asked already, I do apologize. i am trying to play a mod i downloaded from Forge. I am following the directions and cannot figure out where I am going wrong. i moved the .jar file, downloaded from the Forge site,to the "mods" folder, found in the .minecraft app folder. When I start the game, selecting the Forge option and go to "mods" it doesnt appear anywhere on the list of mods. This is my first attempt at downloading and playing a mod. It is actually for my son.. If someone could please give me some direction, maybe tell me where I might be going wrong, I would really appreciate it. thank you in advance!
