    Forge not working properly

    Hi, I installed forge and multiple mods however, whenever I try to run minecraft forge it runs like vanilla. When you run forge it's supposed to have loading bars and a forge symbol in the bottom right. Additionally, when it loads there is no "mods" tab in the main menu and it is just vanilla minecraft with or without mods in the mods folder. If anyone knows what the problem is or how to fix it, I would be greatly appreciative.
