    Just updated it, seems like that wasn't the problem... It still won't work. I even tried different versions of forge but still nothing. It looks like it starts for a second when i double click at forge jar file, but it stops and no new files appears.

    I was just double clicking. I didn't even get to that step, I am at the step even before launching the "minecraft_server.1.12.2"

    I installed forge server in a folder and it gave me "libraries" folder, "forge" jar file and "minecraft server" jar file. To proceed i need to open the "forge" jar file to generate new files for the modded server, but it simply won't open. It doesn't show any error or anything really. I haven't found any solutions on the internet so if you have any solutions please let me know...
