My 1.12.2 Server doesn't want to properly boot up

It seems to run flawlessly with the 64-bit Java! Thank y'all for the tips, help and attention! -

The 64-bit Java boots it up without crashing! Thanks dude! -

I have 16G RAM and a 64 bit version. Changing the minimum doesn't change the message line ''could not reserve enough storage heap'' -
My 1.12.2 Server doesn't want to properly boot up

Aight, so after a brief break from my server building struggles, I revisited the issue and it seems that I forgot to add ''.jar'' to the end of the server name, which was why it could find the the file. Now after adding the ''.jar'', I tried running it again with 4G of memory, and it then gave me this; So I then tried it with 2G, which then stopped it from saying I exceeded the max size, but then instead it gave me this; I guess this is a bit of progress, but it seems I'm still rather far from getting it to work... -

It's the standard Executable jar file that comes with the download from forge. I tried running the .bat, and it opens and closes immediately (don't know whether that's how it's supposed to work) but after doing that it still gives the same results... -

But I do use windows. Does that mean that the .bat approach will solve all the issues? Will my server not have a mental breakdown if I increase its memory this way? If yes, that'd be awesome! -

Any tips on how to do so properly? (Like I said, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to IT stuff) -
So basically I want to play modded minecraft with a friend of mine, but the servers I make always seem to combust after a while (ranging from instantly with my last 2 attempts to 2 weeks with my 1.7.10 server I did a few weeks back) and the crash logs always mention ''JavaHeapSpaceError''. Now, I may have big plans when it comes to modded servers, but I'm about as knowledgeable as the next ape when it comes to IT-related stuff. I really want the server to be able to function properly (and I want it to keep functioning properly) so I need the help of people who actually know a lot about minecraft and coding in general. I'll post the crash report and the latest logs, hopefully that'll supply you with the info you need to help me out. The mods that I used are the exact mods as used in the ''Hexxit updated'' pack that is to be found under 1.12.2 packs on the Twitch launcher. Allright, thanks, that's very helpful! I'll just make a 1.12 modpack and see how that goes!

So a few weeks ago, I had this 1.7.10 server running (now hold your horses moderators, don't immediately close the thread again like you did last time) and it stopped working. Since I'm completely unexperienced when it comes to coding and other IT-related stuff, it speaks for itself that I came to the most logical place to find help. I described my issue and attached the crash logs, but instead of help I got a message saying; ''Forge Forums no longer supports 1.7.10, this thread has been closed'', which then denied me any chance to acquire any further information that I may need for another try at a small scale minecraft server. I find it very unfriendly to immediately close the thread like I'm some kind of pest who is sure to spam the absolute heck out of y'all after hearing I'm not offered any help and it definitely doesn't give anyone looking for help any incentive to ever start a server again, but that's not why I'm here. I'm here to aqcuire that very basic information on how to now proceed with my server building adventures in a way that hext time it crashes, I can actually come to you lads for some help. So, basically, my questions are; - What versions of minecraft DO the forums still support? And for how long will those versions remain supported? - Any general tips as to prevent common crashes and/or to keep the server in good health? - Any tips/hints/whatever as to how not to get JavaHeapSpaceError (Since that was the error it gave me last time and it gave me this very same error yesterday when gave making a server another shot, but then it gave me the error immediately as opposed to after 2 weeks) And that's it. Nothing worth immediately closing a thread for, is it? Thanks in advance for answering my urgent questions!

So I have been playing on my modded server for like 2 weeks now, and it has worked fantastically, until yesterday afternoon, when I left the server running after I logged off because I had a mod grinder in a chunk loader and I wanted it to keep running for a little in order to maximize its yields. So basically after a little while I notice that the java window is no longer there and that it has apparently closed itself for some reason. Now, I'm pretty much the opposite of an IT genius and i get most of my very basic knowledge from tutorials, but even I could figure that the server shouldn't just close itself without me commanding it to do so, so I ran the server again and what do you know; it closed itself every time (after approximately 1 min., not sure if that's relevant). I have left it running before to allow my quarry to do some more work while I was off doing other stuff, and it hasn't malfunctioned then. Now, after having slept first and coming back freshly, I tried running it again, in the hopes that it was a one-time thing, but it still doesn't want to load. Sucks, 'cause I had a lot of plans with it. I'm going to need your help on this lads. I'll link the crash report and the logs (since that's what I've seen knowledgeable people ask for in every other thread when I was looking into whether there was a simple fix). Crash Report; https://pastebin.com/C7EizDCh Latest Logs; https://github.com/ZeFlyinDutchman/Latest-Server-Logs/blob/master/LatsestServerLogs.md (I hope that works) Thanks in advance for sticking your necks out for me and especially for digging trough this massive patch of confusing logs!
