    Forge Server showing up as vinilla?

    So i've downloaded the universal forge jar into a folder WITH a normal 1.12 server... My server runs smoothly and i can put modded items into my inventory; however when i try to black modded blocks, they disappear. The servers shows as vanilla in my server list. Any suggestions as how to fix? and please be detailed because I'm not very good at using technology ;-; I've included screenshots to help. OH! and another thing... to run the server i am using hamachi so my friends can join my hamachi and use my hamachi IP to join my server. This may be causing problems? Once again I have no idea... Any insight would be much appreciated
