    I am having this problem for more than 4 months, I didn't bring it up because of inactivity. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open Minecraft launcher, log in 2. open launch options and press on add new 3. select version as release 1.8.9-forge-1.8.9-11.15.1.2318-1.8.9 then save 4. press on news then click play. For me, after clicking play it shows something like unpacking something then it shows this: how to fix it... Logs:
