  1. because it still said 1.7.10, idk. I just checked and yes I have the newest version. I re-downloaded and it said the same thing, 1.7.10
  2. no i just downloaded the newest version today. I don't think it needs updating. I got it of the website it wasn't third party...
  3. I'm on a mac book. I don't know if this is going to majorly effect my launching forge but I don't think it will. So I go to open Forge and it says the typical, you have not launched minecraft version 1.7.10-4egp or something like that. So I downloaded vanilla because I didn't have that yet, and ran Minecraft on it on the file for forge labeled forge.minecraft/versions/1.7.10/1.7.10.jar . I launched it using 1.7.10. When I went back to launch forge, I had the same stupid notification. I'm completely noob to what's going on here but any help would be greatly appreciated.
