  1. Hey, sorry for the late response. I'm using Linux Mint 19, Cinnamon. I am using the .deb new launcher. I deleted the .minecraft folder, reinstalled the .deb, and reinstalled forge, and tried to start one more time before sending the logs. launcher_log.txt latest.log
  2. After taking a closer look at my ~/.minecraft/versions/ folder, I realized that forge is not installing an actual .jar file. Weird.
  3. I'm trying to install Minecraft Forge on Linux (CLIENT, NOT SERVER). The install succeeds, but ends up crashing after I start the game. I can manage to start up vanilla 1.12.2 though. This leaves absolutely nothing in debug.log in ~/.minecraft/logs. There is literally no file to share. Here's the log for the installer though. > java -jar forge-1.12.2-14.23.4.2750-installer.jar
  4. Why doesn't Java 9 work with Forge? Where does the software let us know that? Anyways, I've installed Java 8, and it doesn't seem to work still, giving the same error.
  5. Leads to the same error. I've also made sure my DigitalOcean Droplet's firewall was off.
  6. It still gives another error. Here's the pastebin link. I used the same command, after renaming the server.jar file. https://pastebin.com/BHRU6e7N
  7. Using "forge-1.12.2-14.23.4.2705-installer.jar" fails installation. It gives the following error code. I've already placed the 1.12.2 server jar from Mojangs websites in the same directory as this, so it shouldn't be failing. The directory is /root/minecraft btw. (root being the folder, not the actual VFS root "/" ) https://pastebin.com/nNCfbXjX Here is the pastebin that contains the log. This is a headless server, so I am unable to use a GUI. I'd appreciate it if anyone could help me install it.
