    Having Forge Server Troubles (Ping and Mods)

    Really need some help with this. In my folder in which i have my server, there's the Forge .JAR file and the minecraft_server .JAR file. Both of them run the server, but both have problems. When I run the minecraft_server .JAR file, the server runs great, BUT... mods don't work. The items from the mods are there, but they don't work the way they should. Aether mod for example doesn't allow me to enter the Aether portal. The weapons functionality is also useless. Now when I run the Forge .JAR file, the server runs, and mods actually DO work. But the server is unplayable due to 400-800 ping constantly. Does anyone know a reason and/or fix for this?
