  1. I only had the 1.12.2 version of optifine in my mods folder while I was running both versions of forge. But I do have 1.8.9 optifine installed but it is not installed in my mods folder.
  2. Hello! First of all I just want to thank who ever is looking at my post! It means a lot to me! So I'm having a few problems with my forge. So whenever I run any Minecraft version with forge below 1.12, my Minecraft crashes. Minecraft Forge 1.12.2 works perfectly but I do need 1.8.9 to work (at the moment every-time I run it, it crashes) because there are more mods available. Also keep in mind that whenever I run just 1.8.9 without forge or mods it works. So here's what my Minecraft does every-time I run forge. Even if I do NOT have any mods and I just want to run Forge it crashes. No mods at all just forge. So I begin to run any forge version below 1.12 and the loading screen for Minecraft comes up black with for a quick second, then it closes and goes back to the Minecraft Launcher. I do have a crash report. I will list it. The game crashed whilst initializing gameError: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: cer (not the crash report but some more details^^^) The most recent crash report is listed below! Any help or input really means a lot to me! Thanks for helping me! The crash report below is for 1.11.2 I will as well add the crash report for Minecraft Forge 1.8.9 crash-2018-07-03_11.02.04-client.txt crash-2018-07-03_11.14.21-client.txt
