    Interestingly enough it seems that it's the new minecraft launcher itself. I tried the old launcher and had no poblems. Now to find out why the new one doesn't work

    I actually uninstalled optifine and minecraft while I was trying to fix it. Sorry If I didn't make that clear. It also worked fine with the optifine I was using before

    Forge was working fine for me but then one day when I tried to open it, it started on a black screen and froze. Sometime it would go to the splash screen and then freeze. I haven't been able to find out why it does this. Optifine and regular Minecraft both work completely fine. I turned off the splash screen as well and waited for about and hour for it and still nothing. log: https://pastebin.com/9dDkzU1R
