I do not understand how but thanks to the crack magic of java windows and your help it all worked. thank you to everyone who held my hand and the dude who jumped in, Don't sweat it.

I have windows 10 so I'm getting powercell instead of command window, can i Still use that or am I going to have to dig around

what is a .jar extension? I'm painfully new to this

I feel like I'm grasping at straws here. I don't understand that thread or how the user got to that solution. can you walk me through the process so that I can try this the right way. all this for pixelmon

For some reason I fully understood that. heres the log in the spoiler below. I have the forge website pulled up if I need to instalthe jar version but I can't figure out how I'd run that manually.

I have no idea on how to do that, I'm on windows 10 if that helps.

I'm running the recommended forged and I've come across a problem with the file names, forge is saying it needs files that read 2.11: 1.1 at the end but I can't name a file that. They're only available with 2.11-1.1.
